Well she's right.. so let's change that. Red pandas don't get nearly enough love as it is!

How cute is it that they stand on two feet like that? They will do that when they feel threatened in order to try and make themselves seem more imposing. Red pandas are actually closely related to skunks and raccoons, unlike the Great Panda which is classed as a type of bear. They're found in regions of Southern Asia, and eat mostly bamboo. Red pandas are currently considered an endangered species by the UN due to loss of habitat due to deforestation; they are poached for their fur, which is considered to be good luck.

Famous red pandas include Master Shifu in the fantastic Dreamworks film Kung Fu Panda, voiced by Dustin Hoffman.

Animal Love

There's just something about interspecies cuddling. The only thing that I can think of that is possibly cuter than puppies cuddling is puppies cuddling ducks, or pigs, or lions, or meese. One of my cats is a sink-dweller (that is, when it's clean). The other two prefer the bathtub.

So go on, immerse yourself in cute cat awesomeness!

Just to Prove it's Not All About Animals..

My buddy Will heard about the new blog and sent me some great links. Sadly, all of these blogs are now defunct, and haven't seen a new post in ages. After lamenting this fact for a while, I decided to do something about it.

Hence, Things That Are Cute.

I plan to use this space to post pictures of any and all things I come across that I find irresistibly adorable. The subject I personally consider cutest is baby animals (making me about as unique as dirt- pipe down, pedologists kthx). However, I totally am able to admit that the field of cute, while dominated by, is not limited to baby animals. miniature versions of furniture and funny hats also qualify! So please go ahead and send me photos of things you come across in your travels which have the ability to melt even the coldest of hearts.

Let's kick this party off with a baby panda.
